And with his obsession comes my vast knowledge of the sound of a LEGO being sucked into the vacuum cleaner or the feel of a 2×4 brick underfoot in the middle of the night. I know the rest of you parents with LEGO obsessed kids can relate.
欧美图亚洲色另类偷偷自拍_欧美成年性色生活片_欧美A一片A few summers ago, I took the kids – by myself – on a 2 week road trip across the southern part of the country. It was a moment of insanity, but we all survived. Along our adventure, we picked up a LEGO magnet () from LegoLand in Florida. It sparked an idea in my mind to get some of Zack’s beloved Minifigures off of the floor.
I started with a handful of 2×4 LEGO bricks, a package of tiny magnets I picked up at Home Depot, and a tube of .
To make a magnetic base for the Minifigures, I simply put a dot of Krazy Glue inside the LEGO brick and applied a little magnet on top of it. The Krazy Glue dries in under 30 seconds and makes a super strong bond. I would have burned the crud out of my fingers trying to do this with a glue gun, and this was dry before I could have even gotten my glue gun heated up to the right temperature. And now Krazy Glue has a “Skin Guard” formula that delays skin bonding time, giving me extra time to get to the kitchen sink!
These two are “vintage” bricks (read: yes, my husband still has ALL of his LEGO from his childhood). Newer bricks have a little divider on the inside, so you have to glue the magnet slightly off center.
If you are just using them for storage, one magnet is plenty. If you want to use them on your refrigerator to hold paperwork, you’ll want to use two magnets or use the stronger rare earth magnets.
Next, add your Minifigures to the top of the bricks. Don’t glue them on. Just simply click them into the bricks so that they can be removed when its time for play.

Now Zack can have his LEGO Minifigure collection on display in his bedroom – and I can save my feet! Well worth the 5 minute project, don’t you think? Gosh, I can’t remember the last time I finished a project that quickly. Like the slogan says, Krazy Glue is .
